Unit R Concept 1
What is this about?
---A problem is presented from Unit R Concept 1 which is exact values of sums or differences. This problem goes over how to use sum and difference to find the trig functions of sine, cosine, and tangent using the appropriate sum and difference formulas. The problem is worked out step by step and divided into two sections. The top goes over the sum part while the bottom part goes over the difference part.
What does the viewer need to play close attention to in order to do the problem correctly?
---When doing this problem it is important that the reader appropriately writes the correct ordered pair for the "u" and "v" with the correct signs( negative or positive). These ordered pairs come from the unit circle to the angle they correspond.
---Another thing to really pay close attention to s how the tangent part for both parts was solved. When solving for tangent since we are using fraction it can get really confusing. It is important to really show the work in this part and remember that in order to get rid of radicals in the bottom we have to multiply by its conjugate.
