Student Video #1: Unit F Concept 6&10

• What is this video about?
• This videos goes over Unit F Concept 6 & 10, which is finding all zeroes(real and complex) given a polynomial of a 4th or 5th degree. A problem is presented from the Concept 6&10 extra practice in the SSS packet and we chose problem number two. This video goes over the series of steps required to solve these types of problems. The video goes over finding p's and q's, Descartes rules of signs, and use synthetic division.
• What does the viewer need to pay special attention to in order to understand the concept?
• It is very important to pay close attention to how many possible positive and negative zeroes there can be for the certain polynomial. 
• Another thing that might be tricky about this video if that we have to be aware that a zero can have a multiplicity greater than one. 

Student Video #3: Unit H Concept 7

What is this video about?

•  This video will over a problem from the SSS packet Unit H concept 7. This concept is about finding logs given approximation. A problem is presented in which clues are given in order to find the log for a number. We will be using the log properties in order to solve. This includes expanding logs by either adding or subtracting. This video goes over the steps on how to successfully find our "treasure" with the clues given.   

What does the viewer need to pay special attention to in order to understand the concept?

• It is important that the reader remembers the number one property that we should know bout logs and pay close attention to how it is used in this problem.
• It is very important that the viewer also plays close attention to see if there are any exponents when expanding the log and how we distribute the exponent to the final solution.
