Student Problem #3
A problem is presented from Unit I Concept 1 graphing exponential functions. This problem goes step by step showing all the different parts needed in order to make a formal graph of the function. This problem shows the steps in order to find the x and y intercept, asymptotes, domain, and range.
- What must the reader need to pay attention to in order not to make a mistake?
- The reader needs to pay close attention when solving for the x-intercept and be careful of any negative signs. The reader had to pay close attention and find out if an x-intercept exists.
-The second thing the reader needs to be careful about is that when solving for the y-intercept the reader must be aware of any negative exponents and be able to distribute it correctly.
